So is it just me, or does anyone else get the sense that Lucy Westenra’s personality is not altogether dissimilar to “the kind of girl” one might run across on a (Victorian Trustafarian) “Girls Gone Wild” video?

Please. The girl didn’t even receive any proposals until she was 19, which makes her practically a spinster.
I just loved that she only mentions one guy to Mina that she’s in love with and then suddenly three, count-em three, marriage proposals in one day! Maybe I’m more ok with those elements having just read this summer the mash-up Pride & Prejudice & Zombies which was funny, but not as much as I hoped. But it did give me a refresher course in that sort of courting so I’m more used to reading about it.
