Gravity’s Rainbow is broken up into four parts, each of which has a number of sections. For those who’ve gotten their hands on unauthorized Kindle versions of the book, the usual section landmarks aren’t very useful. One participant suggested providing landmarks in the forms of last words within a given section, which would afford searching. I’m doing him one better by giving opening bits as well. I’ll update this periodically as we move forward in the text if it proves to be helpful. For now, I’ve documented all of part one, plus the breaks marking our milestones along with the preceding chapter to provide two coordinates. Sections corresponding to our milestones are highlighted in light gray. Since breaks between major parts also stand to be pretty significant, I’ve marked them as well and highlighted them in a darker gray. For the schedule, see the sidebar or go here.
